E-card is a unique ID number which issues after policy get renewed or buy from the market. e-cards issues once policy number get issued and policy copy made at the time of inception, it could be UHID, Insurance ID, member ID, customer id its vary insurance to insurance for each insured members covered under the health insurance policy.
This UHID will be used to validate the member’s identity for efficient and timely process the cashless claim, through this E-card only hospital and insurance company can validate the person who is admitted in the hospital under the health insurance plan and can check the coverages in the policy. The TPA Card is issued to you against your health insurance policy which only covers hospitalization expenses.E-cards will be available in hard copy or soft copy both can be available as per the requirement of the policy holder.
